Terms of Use

The short version. Little Howl is a gentle companion app. Apple's standard license applies, purchases go through the App Store, and Little Howl Plus renews until you cancel it in your Apple Account settings.
These terms apply to the Little Howl app for iPhone and its widgets ("Little Howl" or "the app"), made by DS Studio LLC ("we", "us"). By downloading or using the app you agree to them.
License
Your use of Little Howl is governed by Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement (the "Standard EULA"). These terms add a few details specific to Little Howl. If anything here conflicts with the Standard EULA, the Standard EULA wins.
Little Howl Plus and purchases
- Little Howl Plus (yearly) is an auto-renewing subscription. Payment is charged to your Apple Account when you confirm the purchase. It renews automatically at the end of each year unless you turn off auto-renew at least 24 hours before the current period ends. Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the end of the current period.
- Little Howl Plus (lifetime) is a one-time purchase that does not renew.
- Individual items are one-time purchases.
- You can manage or cancel a subscription in Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions on your iPhone. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.
- Prices are shown in the app before you buy and may vary by country.
- Purchases can be restored on your other devices with the same Apple Account using Restore purchases in the app. Where Family Sharing is available, eligible purchases can be shared with your family.
- Refunds are handled by Apple. You can request one at reportaproblem.apple.com.
If your Plus subscription ends, anything your dog already received while it was active stays with your dog.
Your dog and your data
Your dog and its memories are stored on your device and in your own iCloud. We do not keep a copy, so we cannot recover a dog that was erased with "Start over" or lost with your iCloud data. How the app handles your information is described in the Privacy Policy.
Health and activity
Little Howl turns your step count into gentle adventures for fun. It is not a medical, fitness or health product and does not give medical advice. Please walk safely and pay attention to your surroundings, not your phone.
Fair use
Please do not copy, modify, reverse engineer or redistribute the app or its artwork, characters, sounds or text, except where the law allows it. The Little Howl name, the dog and all artwork belong to DS Studio LLC.
Changes and availability
We may update the app, add or change features, or update these terms. When the terms change, we will update this page and the date at the top. Continuing to use the app after a change means you accept the updated terms.
Disclaimer
The app is provided "as is". To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or incidental damages arising from its use. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer protection laws where you live.
